| In April of 2002, the Parliament of Canada passed a bill establishing the
Canadian Horse as Canada's National Horse , recognizing the breed's fine attributes and
contribution to Canadian history. The bill received Royal Assent, officially becoming law,
on April 30, 2002.
Hidden Meadow Farm is dedicated to breeding Canadian Horses that continue to show the versatility, athletic ability, and intelligence of the "little iron horse." Our breeding stock is carefully selected for quality of conformation and temperament. Our breeding program has produced horses that win both ribbons and hearts. Hidden Meadow Farm was founded in 1987 on 47 acres in Erin Township, 45 minutes from Toronto, near Guelph Ontario. Our 13 stall barn is supplemented with run in sheds Our arena includes a staff apartment, meeting room and carriage house. Hidden Meadow Farm has a limited number of weanlings for sale and occasionally yearlings and adult horses. The prices of our horses vary with age and training. As a guide, weanlings start at around $2500 Can. (Horses for sale are listed on the "What's New" page.) |
